The Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib Trek is one of the most beautiful monsoon treks in the Indian Himalayas. Located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its vibrant alpine flowers, breathtaking mountain landscapes, glaciers, waterfalls, and rare Himalayan wildlife. The trek also includes a visit to the sacred Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, situated at an altitude of 4,329 meters (14,200 ft) beside a pristine glacial lake. Day 1
Day 1: Rishikesh to Govindghat (Drive)
Distance: 270 km Drive Time: 9–10 Hours Altitude: 1,828 m Your journey begins early in the morning from Rishikesh. Drive through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Joshimath while enjoying spectacular views of the Alaknanda River and Himalayan valleys. Reach Govindghat by evening, check into your hotel, have dinner, and rest for the night. Meals: Dinner Stay: Hotel in Govindghat

Day 2: Govindghat to Ghangaria (Trek)
Distance: 13 km Trek Altitude: 3,050 m After breakfast, drive 4 km to Pulna, the trek starting point. Begin the scenic trek to Ghangaria through forests, waterfalls, wooden bridges, and the beautiful Lakshman Ganga River. Reach Ghangaria in the evening and relax. Day 3: Trek to Valley of Flowers & Return to Ghangaria
Distance: 10 km (Round Trip) Altitude: 3,658 m After breakfast, trek towards the Valley of Flowers National Park. Walk through colorful meadows filled with hundreds of Himalayan flowers, streams, waterfalls, and snow-covered peaks. Spend time exploring the valley and capturing unforgettable photographs before returning to Ghangaria. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Hotel in Ghangaria

Day 4: Trek to Hemkund Sahib & Return to Ghangaria
Distance: 12 km (Round Trip) Altitude: 4,329 m Start early in the morning for Hemkund Sahib. The steep trek rewards you with breathtaking mountain views and the serene glacial lake beside the Gurudwara. Seek blessings, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and descend back to Ghangaria. Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat & Drive to Joshimath

Day 6: Joshimath to Rishikesh
