    Day 1

    Day 1 – Rishikesh → Badrinath

    Early morning departure from Rishikesh towards Badrinath. Drive through the beautiful Himalayan valleys via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Chamoli and Joshimath. On the way, enjoy views of the Alaknanda River and Himalayan villages. Reach Badrinath by evening and check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Badrinath Temple for darshan and evening prayers, subject to temple timings and crowd conditions. Distance: Approx. 295–320 km Travel Time: Approx. 10–12 hours Stay: Hotel, Badrinath Meals: Dinner

    Day 2 – Badrinath Darshan & Mana Village

    Start the morning with Badrinath Temple darshan. You may also visit Tapt Kund, subject to local conditions and temple guidelines. After breakfast, visit nearby attractions: Badrinath Temple Tapt Kund Mana Village Vyas Gufa Ganesh Gufa Saraswati River Bheem Pul Mana is a popular high-altitude village near Badrinath, while Vyas Gufa and Saraswati are among the notable local attractions. Return to Badrinath by evening. Stay: Hotel, Badrinath Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

    Day 3 – Badrinath → Rishikesh

    After breakfast, check out and start the return journey to Rishikesh. Enjoy the scenic Himalayan drive through Joshimath, Chamoli, Karnaprayag and Rudraprayag. Reach Rishikesh by evening. Distance: Approx. 295–320 km Meals: Breakfast Tour Ends: Rishikesh

Pleasant weather with clear mountain views. This is one of the most popular periods for Badrinath Darshan, with comfortable daytime temperatures and good road conditions.

September – October (Autumn)

Cool and peaceful weather with beautiful Himalayan views. Fewer crowds compared to peak summer, making it a good time for a comfortable pilgrimage.

What to be able to do before you join, and how to get there.

General Fitness

Basic fitness is sufficient. You should be comfortable walking for 30–45 minutes and travelling on mountain roads. Regular walking before the trip is recommended.

Acclimatisation

Badrinath is situated at around 10,248 ft, so take it easy after arrival, stay hydrated and avoid heavy physical activity initially.

Senior Citizens

Senior citizens can join if they are comfortable with high-altitude travel. Those with existing medical concerns should consult their doctor before the journey.
