Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1
Day 1: Drive from Rishikesh to Lohajung
Drive Distance: Approx. 250–270 km Drive Time: 9–11 Hours Altitude: Approx. 2,350 m Your journey begins early morning from Rishikesh. Drive through the beautiful Himalayan roads via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Tharali before reaching Lohajung. Enjoy scenic views of rivers, valleys and mountain villages throughout the journey. On arrival at Lohajung, check in to your hotel/guesthouse. Meet your trek leader and team, attend a short briefing about the trek, and prepare your backpack for the next day's adventure. Meals: Dinner Stay: Hotel/Guesthouse in Lohajung

Day 2
Day 2: Trek from Lohajung to Bekaltal
Trek Distance: Approx. 6 km Trek Time: 4–5 Hours Altitude: Approx. 3,000 m After breakfast, start your trek from Lohajung towards Bekaltal. The trail gradually climbs through beautiful dense forests of oak and rhododendron. The peaceful forest trail offers beautiful views and, during winter, you may find snow-covered paths. After reaching Bekaltal, settle into your campsite and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lake. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Stay: Camp at Bekaltal

Day 3: Trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal via Jhandi Top
Trek Distance: Approx. 7 km Trek Time: 5–6 Hours Altitude: Approx. 3,200 m After breakfast, begin your trek towards Brahmatal. Today's trail takes you through beautiful snow-covered forests and open ridges. The trail passes through Jhandi Top, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains. Continue walking towards Brahmatal Lake, one of the most beautiful highlights of the trek. Reach the campsite by afternoon, relax and enjoy the stunning mountain scenery. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Stay: Camp at Brahmatal

Day 4: Trek from Brahmatal to Summit & Back to Brahmatal
Trek Distance: Approx. 7–8 km Trek Time: 6–7 Hours Maximum Altitude: Approx. 3,840 m Wake up early and get ready for the most exciting day of the trek. After breakfast, start your climb towards the Brahmatal Summit. The trail passes through snow-covered ridges and open meadows. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of some of the most beautiful Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Trishul and Nanda Ghunti. Spend some time at the summit for photography and enjoy the incredible views before descending back to the Brahmatal campsite. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Stay: Camp at Brahmatal

Day 5: Trek from Brahmatal to Lohajung
Trek Distance: Approx. 10–11 km Trek Time: 5–6 Hours After breakfast, begin your descent from Brahmatal towards Lohajung. The trail takes you through beautiful forests and mountain landscapes. Enjoy the last views of the Himalayan ridges and surrounding peaks before reaching Lohajung. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax after completing the trek. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Stay: Hotel/Guesthouse in Lohajung

Day 6: Drive from Lohajung to Rishikesh
Drive Distance: Approx. 250–270 km Drive Time: 9–11 Hours After breakfast, start your return journey from Lohajung to Rishikesh. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery on the way as you travel through the valleys and rivers of Uttarakhand. Reach Rishikesh by evening, marking the end of your 6 Days / 5 Nights Brahmatal Trek with beautiful memories of the Himalayas. Meals: Breakfast

Altitude & Acclimatisation
Trekkers are advised to walk at a comfortable pace, stay hydrated, and follow the trek leader’s instructions. Any symptoms of altitude sickness should be reported immediately to the trek leader.

A basic first-aid kit is carried by the trek team. Participants should also carry their prescribed personal medicines and inform the trek leader about any relevant medical concerns.
