Dayara Bugyal is one of the most beautiful high-altitude meadow treks in Uttarakhand, offering a perfect combination of adventure, nature and breathtaking Himalayan views. The trek starts from the scenic mountain village of Raithal and takes you through peaceful forests, open meadows and beautiful mountain landscapes. The trail towards Gui Campsite passes through dense oak and rhododendron forests, while the higher sections open into the vast and picturesque meadows of Dayara Bugyal. From the meadows, trekkers can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, especially during sunrise and sunset. The trek also includes a visit to Bakaria Top, one of the highest points of the route, offering magnificent panoramic views. During winter, the entire landscape transforms into a beautiful snow-covered paradise, making Dayara Bugyal an excellent destination for snow trekking. Day 1
Day 1: Dehradun → Raithal
Early morning departure from Dehradun towards Raithal village, the base village for the Dayara Bugyal trek. The drive passes through beautiful Himalayan valleys, forests and mountain roads. On arrival at Raithal, check in at the campsite/homestay, relax and prepare your trekking gear for the next day. Stay: Raithal Meals: Dinner Drive: Approx. 190–200 km

Day 2
Day 2: Raithal → Gui Campsite
After breakfast, start the trek from Raithal towards Gui Campsite. The trail gradually climbs through dense oak and rhododendron forests. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and beautiful mountain views along the route. After reaching Gui, settle into the campsite and relax. Stay: Gui Campsite Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner Trek: Approx. 4–5 km

Day 3: Gui Campsite → Dayara Bugyal → Gui Campsite
After breakfast, start your trek from Gui Campsite towards Dayara Bugyal. The trail passes through beautiful oak and rhododendron forests before opening into the vast alpine meadows of Dayara Bugyal. Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views, peaceful surroundings and the beautiful meadow landscape. Spend some time exploring Dayara Bugyal and enjoying the scenery. Afterward, begin the descent and return to Gui Campsite by evening. Stay: Gui Campsite Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner Trek: Approx. 8–10 km round trip Highest Altitude: Approx. 11,000 ft

Day 4: Gui Campsite → Raithal → Dehradun
After breakfast, start your descent from Gui Campsite towards Raithal Village. Enjoy the peaceful forest trail and beautiful Himalayan surroundings during the descent. Reach Raithal and have some rest before boarding the vehicle for your return journey to Dehradun. Drive through the scenic mountain roads and valleys of Uttarkashi.
